The awesome day at ki o rahi
Yesterday it was a very hot day at school. Me and my nana were packing up for ki o rahi.
After we packed up me and half of the school went to livart park to play the game ki o rahi.
First at livart park we put the gazebo up then we went to the coaches gazebo and he told us the rules. After that we had a little dance which was our exercise then we went back to the gazebo to have a little snack to wait a few minutes. So after we waited for a few minutes we got into teams wich was Tautoro 1 and Tautoro 2. I was in Tautoro 1 also in Tautoro 1 was Neko, Jono, Joseph,Ellawisha. Javis, Ariana, Myer and Manawa. In tautoro 2 was Kohl-lee, Tamaiti-Pani, Marta, Angel-rose, Andy, Helam, VJ , Amani, Taonga, and Sally. After we sorted out the teams it was tautoro 2s game so then we watched tautoro 1. After that it was our turn to play ki o rahi we were on taniwha. Taniwha is the one were you shoot the tipu the tipu is a large drum that is about 1.5 meters long and people had to shoot the tipu to get a score the other team had to shot the tipu and had to throw the ball to the taniwha. After that we packed up to go back to school when we finished prise giving me my nana Myer and Angel-rose went to have a kai at Mcdonalds and when we got back to school we went home for a big celebration and a big sleep. 😎😎
